The following are files that were distributed for the February 2023 meeting.

The Friends of the ‘Aiea Library will be holding a booksale on Saturday, January 28, 2023 from 9 AM to 2 PM at the Aiea Library. Tell all your friends and family to come down to buy some really cheap (but high quality) books! As usual, proceeds from the sale will go toward supporting the ‘Aiea Library’s programs. 

The booksale features a wide range of books and other media at very affordable prices!

Proceeds from the booksale are used to help support the valuable programs offered by the ‘Aiea Public Library.

Aiea Hongwanji at 99-186 Puakala Street will be hosting a vaccine clinic on January 20, 2023 from 4 PM to 8 PM.

The clinic will offer COVID vaccines, including the new bivalent boosters, as well as monkeypox (mpox) vaccines and flu vaccines.

Vaccinations are FREE!

Need a COVID shot, COVID booster or a flu shot? The Aiea Hongwanji Mission (98-186 Puakala St., Aiea, HI 96701) will have a vaccination drive on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. No reservations necessary!

If you can’t make that drive, the Aiea Hongwanji Mission will be holding another vaccination drive on Friday, December 16, 2022.

Files for the Oct. 2022 meeting:

Need a COVID test? Or need to get the new bivalent booster before the holidays? (Remember, it takes a couple of weeks for the vaccines to train up your immune system, so don’t wait until the last minute!) Aiea Hongwanji Mission (99-186 Puakala St., Aiea, HI, 96701) will be holding a vaccination and testing clinic on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Moderna and Pfizer shots will be available.

To help you get through the line faster, you can download the required form so you can fill it out ahead of time. Note the first form is for vaccination; the second form is for testing.

We’re having the Aiea Christmas Parade this year!

The Aiea Christmas Parade will be held on December 10, 2022. Due to the pandemic it’s been two years since the last parade. Please join us at this community event to celebrate the holiday season. [please see application below]

Many schools, businesses, churches, and community groups have participated in previous years. The parade featured marching bands, classic cars, floats, and, of course, Santa. This year the parade will start at 9am at Pearlridge Elementary School and will end at the Old Sugar Mill Site on Halewiliko Street next to the Aiea Library.

The Aiea Christmas Parade and Fun Fair is sponsored and funded by the Aiea Community Association, which is an IRS designated 501(c) 3 organization. The ACA is a non-profit community-based organization dedicated to serving the Aiea Community.
