Children’s storytime will return to Aiea Public Library on Wednesday, July 30th at 10:30 AM. If you have children or grandchildren who have enjoyed our engaging stories and fun crafts, remember to bring them to Aiea’s brand new library on Wednesday mornings. Reading to children not only helps them develop an appreciation of the written word, but also results in stronger reading skills and a higher success rate in school, so bring them to the library for storytime.
Finally, computer classes will begin at the new ‘Aiea Public Library on August 5, 2014. If you know anyone who needs some help with basic computer and Internet skills, please tell them about these free classes! Classes are geared towards the individual student’s needs. The first August class is scheduled for August 5th at 11 AM. Visit or call the library at 483-7333 to sign up.
Please note that because of the pending move of the ‘Aiea Public Library, the ‘Aiea Neighborhood Board will recess in July 2014. The next neighborhood board meeting will be on August 11, 2014.
