ACA Members! As the media has reported, the new ‘Aiea Public building will be opening in July! In preparation for this opening, the current ‘Aiea Public Library facility will be closing for good after this Saturday, June 7, 2014 in order to move the library’s collection over to the new facility.
If you have time this Sunday (June 8th) to help with the packing of the library’s collection, the library could really use your help! Volunteers will help clear out a work space in the current library on and will be working in pairs to remove library materials from the shelves and pack them in lightweight green bins provided by Island Movers. Light refreshments will be provided.
If you are able to assist, please let Claire Tamamoto know when and for how long.
