The Friends of Makalapa Park are hosting a Back-to-School Bash and Supply Drive on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 4-6:30 p.m. at Makalapa Neighborhood Park! From their announcement:
“Come join the Friends of Makalapa Park as we host a fun night for keiki to get ready for school! Get a haircut, ride a bike, shoot some hoops, adopt a plant, and play volleyball with your friends at the park as we gather supplies for a great school year.”

Bring your kids and have a great time as summer vacation comes to an end and the fall semester begins!
The Friends of Makalapa Park will also collecting school supplies at this event. Pencils, erasers, dry erase markers, umbrellas, shoes, water bottles, backpacks, and uniforms are needed.
