June 27, 9am: Informational Briefing on Revised Primary Urban Center Development Plan
From Councilmember Cordero: The City Council’s Committee on Planning and theEconomy (P&E) will hold an informational briefing on Bill 24 (2024), Relating to the Revised Primary Urban CenterDevelopment Plan (PUC DP).
The Plan (available here) will guide public policy, investment, and decision-making related to development in the Primary Urban Center, which extends from Kāhala to Pearl City through Council Districts IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII, and includes nearly 20 neighborhood boards and community associations and organizations.

June 28: 2024 Cool Down Fest at Makalapa Neighborhood Park

June 29, 9-11am: Going Green E-waste recycling at Aiea Hongwanji
Aiea Honwanji (99-186 Puakala Street) is hosting an e-recycling event on Saturday, June 29 from 9-11am. Computers, scanners, TVs, printers, etc. will be accepted. See the flier below for a full list of accepted items:
June 30, 1-2:30 pm: Bon Dance practice at Aiea Hongwanji Mission Social Hall
Learn the bon dance (or get some practice in) before Aiea Hongwanji’s bon dance (happening on August 24, at 7pm) at the Hongwanji’s social hall from 1-2:30 pm! Please park in the back parking lot (i.e., not in front of the temple). Thank you!
